Sep 24, 2026 · 1 hr 2 min · 13 segments
Gordo and Sammy have a lot of news to break down despite the Red Sox having their playoff fate firmly locked. Reacting to Chad Tracy becoming the full-time manager and the extension given to Craig…
Just Sammy and Gordo today, and I feel like we've had a tsunami of Red Sox talking points to get into today.
Since the last time we recorded, which really wasn't that long ago, it was a Monday pod.
We're just on normal schedule here.
Aaron Judge was pronounced out for the wildcard series.
Now he's back and going to play in the wildcard series, supposedly.
Sadon Rafaela came back, then died again.
There's now a double header.
The bullpen continues to be both a strength and a fear point.
The offense can't score.
Jaron Duran got to 2020 and is somehow, with a potential Rafael injury, going to have a lineup spot yet again.
Crochet is not coming back in the regular season.
How many things did I just list off? There's so much to get into on this show, and it's one of those...
Usually, I...
I really I love having all three of us.
I think the show is better with all three of us.
But when there's so much to get into, honestly, maybe it's better that there's just two of us because we might be on here for an hour and a half for an end of season September pod, not even talking about the postseason series that's to come next week.
Right, like these games, standings-wise, they don't matter.
Vibe-wise, and we'll get into this, they definitely matter, and they're weighing on me a bit.
One thing I'd like to add, we saw Chapman pitch for the first time in just under two weeks.
Looked unbelievable.
So yeah, for a time in the season where we don't really care whether the Red Sox win or lose very much, there's a lot to talk about.
