That extra money allows them to get Daz Cameron.

Um, they come back around in 2014 or 2015 and they get the, you know, they get so many corner pieces, and Daz Cameron's the centerpiece of the Verlander deal.

So this team is very, very streaky.

But when you have PCA playing at MVP level, followed by Nico Horner and Seiya Suzuki, Alex Bregman has actually been one of the better hitters in the National League in the second half of the season.

The Cubs seem to be hitting their stride at the right time.

They're very s- sound defensively.

And then for the Cubs, they are numero uno in terms of run creation.

P.C. Armstrong with his 41 home runs, he's on base, be the MVP at this point.

Alex Bregman is up to a 350 on base with 24 home runs.

Even these guys that don't hit for a lot of average, like Michael Busch is hitting at 235.

14 homers since the All-Star break, batting fifth in the San Diego Padres lineup.

There is only four guys in baseball that have hit more home runs in the second half than Jackson Merrill, and their names are Tatis, Devers, Bregman, and P.C.A. That's right.

Maybe he's been underrated just as like a fourth outfield bench piece, like strong side platoon, but say is the easy pick for the Cubs.

What I really enjoy, two of the other members of the top five are Chicago Cubs.

Since the start of June, the Cubs have three of the five most valuable position players in all of baseball.

And, you know, the lineups kind of looked like it.

When they traded for Kyle Tucker, we're talking about a guy that won a gold glove in addition to being the left-handed bat that you wanted for that season.

When they put all the money into Bregman.

This was a gold glove guy in addition to being the hitter that he was, the playoff guy that he was.

They extended Hap after he won gold gloves.

But, you know, I think some of the stuff that's being thrown around or that we've seen is somewhat ridiculous.

The free agency period stuff, man, I don't remember if you saw Passon's tweet about that, but... that was really interesting where they were like, Hey, we're only going to like make free agency like three weeks long or I was like, and I guess what they're trying to do is to prevent a Boris type situation where it's like, Oh, I'm just going to sit here until spring training until, I mean like, Isn't essentially that what Bregman did with, with the Cubs? Like, and
