When Max Fried is on the mound as a lefty, you want that strong defense at third base.

Ryan McMahon has not done much offensively this year.

I never liked the trade to begin with, and he is an abomination offensively, but He is a good defender, and that's what the Yankees prioritize when Max Freed is on the mound.

And I, I think that, While neither team is really playing for anything, the Red Sox are really beat up.
