Fighting for Cummings Elementary, School Safety in Bend & Unrest in France – Newsmakers At Noon 10/19/26

I so appreciate parents who step up like that.

Parents and community members who see something and they go, it's time, it's time.

Well, and to come as prepared as Kevin is, I am going that is the most impressive part of it.

You know, for me, I love to hear the logical, the number side.

Let's pan this thing out and let's go long term on this.

Save the emotion.

Let the kids come out with the experience and the emotion testimony.

Adults.

Yeah, there's a little emotion to it.

But using facts and numbers and basics and this and that, it's so much more impactful when you look at the reality of how we are.

I guess that means I have to watch the school board meeting tomorrow night, doesn't

it? Well, yeah.

Now you've got plans.

Them's the rules.

Anyway, I do have Kevin left information.

So if you missed anything or if you are a Cummings family and you want to get in touch, I will have that.

I will have a QR code in our show notes that you can scan and you can get all the information you need.

So that means we got to pivot because after Friday, of course, Thursday, actually, right after we went off the air, I think most of you guys are familiar with what happened over in Bend.

We don't need to rehash some of that.

Obviously, there was a there was a shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in the Ben Lapine district.

I guess the kids are preparing.

They're going to go back to school on Wednesday.

We all know there were three innocent children, a wonderful teacher who was beloved, who actually has come off as, you know, really kind of stepping in there.

And of course, we know about Caleb, who was the father who just happened.

The mustache always talks about that life path.
