the Pacific Northwest shift like that, and when you get that kind of really supple, soft, rain-soaked, saturated tissue and growth in the spring, and then suddenly you turn the faucet off and you take away the clouds and the sun is just like [imitates explosions].

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And yeah, so moving up to Oregon is the same thing.

So it's about three hours from the county to from humboldt and and there's still that that strong bigfoot culture i mean you see the stuff all over the place and and i just imagine it's like that all the way up the pacific northwest you know and um and you're starting to see a lot of it here in southern california now too and i just wonder maybe because the internet and stuff like that but um uh it's good to see that i i like it um and it's just uh there's just so much stuff to check out in southern oregon there's a there's actually a little museum out in cave junction which is pretty cool and um actually also back in humboldt there's the willow creek museum also and willow creek is known as kind of like this uh i would call it like the your your supply spot when you go up to like the bluff creek area you have the hoopla reservation there nearby where a lot of this activity happens and for some reason it seems like uh uh because there's maps out there people have mapped some of the activity and a lot of it happens throughout the county but it seems to focus around the the hoopla reservation and you hear that that the you know a lot of the activity happens around reservations and stuff like that so it makes you wonder for sure And I've gotten to meet some of the people from the Hoopas, the people from Hoopa.

I got a couple of friends that are Hoopa.

have met some of the elders, Inker, who's a well-known in the community and has been on like a monster quest.

i'm on the other coast now i'm in new england but uh who knows where i might end up uh my wife and i've talked about maybe someday moving to the pacific northwest i loved it up there i think she'd love it she's like me i love uh overcast rainy cloudy days and i got uh great number of those

Now, if you add Las Vegas, you're probably thinking Memphis, New Orleans, and then a mix of more than likely Houston, San Antonio, give or take, if that's the way that you wanted to kind of construct your map here.

Oklahoma City, Denver, Utah, and the new Vegas franchise? With Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Golden State making up your Pacific Northwest division? Or do you go LA, LA, Las Vegas, and Phoenix? Because that seems like that would make a lot of sense for like a Pacific Southwest or whatever you want to call it.

Yeah.

And then you'd have your Pacific Northwest.

And then maybe it's just Las Vegas, Utah, Denver, and OKC.

It's interesting.

It's a damn good football team.

But up in the Pacific Northwest, yeah, they're the centerpiece, but I certainly don't think this is Cowboys or Steelers or national brand yet, despite the way they played last year and even week one.

It's completely priceless.

And it's not only historical for the Lewis and Clark expedition, but also helps shine some light on how relations between the early United States government and indigenous peoples in the plains in the Pacific Northwest how all of that unfolded and, and happened.

Um, so being able to show this to people is, it's kind of, it's hard to explain.

Like you're looking at these objects and you're like, oh my gosh, these things are hundreds of years old and they were held by very famous people that were 250 years old.

That was my point.

Move it to Seattle because it's still the Pacific Northwest.

You still have that fan base.

It's much closer than Vegas.

So it was awesome.

In terms of precipitation, it actually looks fairly active with much of the country expecting near or even above normal precipitation from September 15th through the 21st.

A little quieter, though, in the Pacific Northwest, where it is expected to be drier than normal, and it does certainly look like we could see a late-season resurgence of the monsoon rains, is actually the Southwest that has the greatest likelihood of experiencing unusually wet weather as we move into the second half of September.

But, uh, you know, this neighbor kids working and, you know, I'm, I'm doing all this work on my property, trying to get it done before the monsoons basically start in the Pacific Northwest.

And I've been spending 20 plus hours, even 30 hours, some weeks doing manual labor on my property.

hardscaping, lifting rocks, building rock walls, doing all these things.
