Redmond School District 2J

My heart is with this gentleman.

So I am going to mention I also know people in the Redmond School District, Ben Lapine School District shut down on Friday.

They had no classes, no nothing.

Right.

On Friday, people in the Redmond School District arrived at their schools, elementary, middle schools, high schools, to find a police presence outside of every school.

And the community felt wonderful about that.

And I sit here and go, there's the bottom line right there.

Katie was born on May 4th, 1971, in Redmond, Oregon, to parents Paul and Heather Eggleston.

Her father, a former Seattle high school teacher, had become superintendent of the Redmond School District.

Her mother worked as an elementary school teacher.

Katie was one of four daughters in a close-knit family that valued education, independence, and hard work.

We have to have a stronger partnership with our districts to make it happen.

And you will be pleased to know that the Redmond School District is, in fact, teaching the science of reading.

They are doing a great job.

They are.
