And, and while I would've loved to tip back a Racer 5 or One of, or a Russian River, you know, I, I have to travel down there to get one of those.

So I'm going w- a- across the mountains in Bend, Deschutes Brewery, one of the, one of the OG breweries, uh, up here in Oregon.

And I'm going with the Tropical Fresh IPA.

It's a, it's a really nice, I'm not a huge fan of the fruity IPAs, but this is, like, just the right amount of fruity.

I mean-

Yeah, we had, we had a nice, you know, nice, uh, bunch, uh, the whole Flagstaff group came out, Robbie Crar and, and, and, uh, uh, Jared Hazen and, you know, Steven Kirsch and all those guys.

Uh, um, and so, uh, we had a, we had nice groups coming from Bend and from Flagstaff and from Boulder, and it was just kind of a, a nice, uh, springtime, just kind of the right amount of hard and the right amount of distance for whatever crazy thing they were planning to do over the summer.

What I took away from my two experiences there, and, and I, and I think many people did, and I, I'm, I'm still not entirely sure it's replicated anywhere else, and whether you're an elite runner or a mid or back-of-the-packer, it was an experience.

I got a pop-up on my phone about the Bend City

Well, I don't know if I have a hot tip, but I was I was thinking about this and my mind immediately went to my time in Bend, where I lived for about five years.

And I worked at the Bend Bulletin and I would cover crime and I had to get to the courthouse.

And it's it's great to go to a vacation city when you're on vacation.

But when you're working there, And you're rushing to get to a hearing and you're stuck behind a pub cycle or just people who are in no rush to get anywhere.

So how what is your involvement? You you worked with you worked as a consultant for Sky Dog Ranch and Sanctuary there in Bend, Oregon.

How did the involvement come and how did how long did this investigation? How did you do it? Take us right into how you did this.

In July, I was living in my home on 10 acres in the country.

I am currently in Bend, Oregon for an entire month and loving every single minute.

You guys, there is so much sunshine here and I need it more than I realized.

And there is the energy of the city is so much more active and engaged and creative.
