All her life, Gypsy had pulled protective instincts out of people.

She was so small and looked so helpless, and everybody who'd ever met her was now imagining her somewhere without her chair.

From the moment of her arrest, she was also confused about details large and small.

She'd been given a version of her own life, and she was now learning the full truth of it.

Kim Blanchard shut down the GoFundMe as soon as the fraud came out.

She's talked about that moment, about realizing she knew nothing about a person she'd been close to for six years, and wondering how she could have been so stupid.

It's important to note Stacy had been having a number of health problems in the years before her death, including problems with her heart.

And according to a GoFundMe campaign started by one of her friends, Stacy had been having issues since the birth of the couple's first daughter in 2013.
