Um, a- and we're, we're, we're very much in a spot right now where none of the things they're trying to do are working.

Um, they're trying to make the race, the election about communism, and a lotta places people are like, "Does that mean I get my Obamacare subsidy back?"

Mm-hmm.

"Because I'll take it.

Think GLP-1s.

The roughly nineteen million adults insured through the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, can expect premiums to rise fifteen percent on average.

However, the White House promised five hundred dollar refund checks to one million Obamacare enrollees it says were overcharged in past years.

[gentle music] Even if the economy collapses, God will remain in control.

And I always wanted to be a political reporter.

And right after school, I went to D.C. working for Reuters, and I was covering a little bit of the White House and the Affordable Care Act.

And I realized that political reporting is very interesting, and it's for some people, but it's also very boring sometimes.

And I always use the caveat, like, obviously it's not boring now.

But like, it was just, you know, it wasn't for me.

So I came back to New York and I was still working for Reuters and I was covering the science of medicine then because I was covering the Affordable Care Act for a long time.

And I did that for the better part of a decade, and then I moved into digital editing, where I was doing the social media, digital video for Reuters.

And then my friend was at LinkedIn, and he was telling me that they had a news team.

We get a lot of email, too.

It's amazing how when I was running for office in 2013, 14, and, you know, Obamacare was

new

on the scene.

I don't think it was very successful about it.

For a while in the campaign, it worked in Nebraska, but it didn't translate nationally.

I talked about the Obamacare worldview and the idea that if there's a problem in the world, the government just solving it.

I mean, it's themes and topics that you've written about much more eloquently than I have.

But also, we want to talk about affordability, health care.

He still wants to do the ACA, but he'll get fights on that.

But that's the way it should be.

OK, he has an opinion.

Take what we can get because then it'll build on that also.

All right.

So if Keith Jeffries doesn't agree to Medicaid 12, we'll get ACA subsidies back.

Maybe some more money.

It does not.

If so, how do they keep raising taxes? How do we have Obamacare? And why won't we shut our borders? I watched a poll this morning.

80% of Americans think that an estate tax, which destroys farms and small businesses and bankrupts people's estates because most of them are asset-based and not cash-based, they think that it's immoral and should be taken away.

The government is getting ready to raise it.

Republican voters who stay home elect anti-white and anti-American Democrats.

Finally, Trump puts Obamacare to good use.

There's a lot to get to, and I'm glad to get to it on this episode of News Sight.
