The calendar, forcing the guys to wait until Saturday to record, helped out Daniel (@C70) and Allen (@amedlock1) with fresh news to discuss. Joshua Baez, AAA home run leader and buzzed about prospect…
Alan MedlockHostAnd it worked out pretty well for us, Alan, because if we had recorded yesterday, I'm sure I would have said some stuff about how Joshua Baez is nowhere close to being coming up.

There's several, several calls I remember that have happened in Wrigley when they've called guys up or, you know, someone came off the DL and stuff like that.

Yesterday we both would have agreed that Baez is probably down for the year, you know, that – maybe I missed the deadline and it's not going to happen and that you worry about Libertor pitching in Wrigley and, you know,
I mean, whatever, take whatever we say today was a huge grains of salt, but you probably doing that anyway.
I think, I think that, uh, if I remember right, maybe I do, maybe I don't, but they called up, uh, luke weaver and alex reyes um while they were wriggly as well i may be wrong on that
but i have had that recollection
um there is and there's something to be said for making your debut in the in the big rivalry game.
I mean, if nothing else ever goes right for Joshua Baez, and hopefully he has many, many memories in the major leagues, but debuting in a place like Greeley Field, which granted, as John Rooney would say, it may not be the finest of accommodations, but it does have all the history that goes along with it.
I think that if you can't make your debut in Bush Stadium as a Cardinal player, making it at Wrigley is probably maybe the next best thing.
