Getting Ready for the Return of Parliament

Well, it's this time of the year again.

It's time for the annual Back to Parliament podcast episode.

Usually, the summer tends to be a bit quieter in Canadian politics.

Politicians head back to their ridings, they hit the barbecue circuit, they talk to constituents, flip pancakes and grill hot dogs.

Well, this summer was anything but quiet.

There were constant geopolitical developments, especially as it pertains to the trade conflict with the United States.

We had federal by-elections in three different provinces.

And for good measure, the end of the summer was equally busy with an investment summit in Toronto and the prime minister going to Europe.

To help us make sense of the summer and all the moving pieces, I invited on the podcast my Strategy Corps colleagues, Rebecca Caldwell, Gary Keller, and Nathan Cullen.

All three have extensive political experience, so they're well positioned to help us get ready for an interesting fall in Canadian politics.
