Tom Pitfield

There were reports of a logjam in the Senate and some very unhappy moments at PMO from what I heard.

And I do wonder if that was one of the reasons why Tom Pitfield was appointed to the Senate.

I mean, there are lots of good reasons to appoint your You're a longtime ally and a liberal compatriot.

But I think that one of the reasons he was put into the Senate was to speed things up.
