Our question of the day today is, would you be okay with your partner going to a lot of festivals without you? Context to this question.

okay get that out of there that says one of my oh one of my buddies a decade ago dated a rave girl she would go off to festivals all the time with her girls and one guy friend my buddy obviously couldn't go because he had a job but he was never concerned i asked him if she could be doing something nefarious he said she would never do that I simply asked because she would talk about how she looked forward to all the drugs and alcohol.

Well, long story short, she cheated on him with dozens of guys over a year and broke up with him for the guy friend who she went to the rapes with.
Yeah, so that's the context.
So,

I don't think it necessarily like we can make an assumption of all people who go to a lot of raves without their partner or a lot of festivals without their partners, like automatically doing something.

Uh, but to answer your question, I don't like, I think it's just all about trust, right? Like,

Did the boyfriend even hang out with the friends? Does he know the friends that well enough?

Yeah, my question here is like, he says it like, oh, my buddy obviously couldn't go because he had a job and he was never concerned.

care to go? Did he look down on it? What's the deal there? Because I feel like that does matter a little bit.

And so, I mean, I would say to this guy's point, like, obviously, if you put yourself in positions consistently that, you know, impair your judgment.

then like there is a higher probability that you could fuck up and do something

right like that's like that's just it could happen now that's not to say that everyone does that like some people have really good self-discipline even when they are fucked up you know but like some people also don't and it's like if if impairing yourself because you're intoxicated by drinking or on drugs does that to you then it could happen you know what i'm saying so
