And, yeah, so the fact that this happened now, I find that interesting because there's a cycle that I've heard about and I cannot verify at all.

Matt likes to go to Burning Man.

Every year he comes back from Burning Man and he has really messed up ideas.

About things that he wants to do in the company and everyone has to talk him back down.

Like I said, I have not verified this.

Okay.

And so doing this when he like saying, okay, we're putting you on paid leave.

As he would be coming back from Burning Man.

I literally responded to him when I said my name is Jenna and I'm on my Jennergy and I just started dancing with him and I grabbed his hands and I started dancing with him and I was like I'd written trusting yourself to the point you know when to leave you know when to say no you know who is not for you you know what makes you feel good and what does not I have a toe thumb and it's been my biggest insecurity my entire life like I when I was little and we'd take pictures I'd always put my thumb up with my other hand because I didn't want anyone to know I had a toe thumb Welcome back to the Vulnerability School Podcast! Today I'm recording at my friend Sophie's house and she's an artist so it's just beautiful and I'm honored to be here.

I'm still in Utah and just got back from Burning Man.

I've been like recovering I swear for like two weeks.

Getting everything organized and cleaned and my last episode was on recorded live from my time at Burning Man and kind of just like my intentions going into Burning Man and And I want to share with you my experience of Burning Man.

And something so interesting is I oftentimes find myself telling people like Burning Man changed my life.

But then I realized it's it's the way that I go about Burning Man that changes my life, that like pushes me into a quantum leap that transforms me.

It's not the same experience for everyone.

And I didn't realize that.

we're doing that and then i think i did like some like vine work like vintage work around adelaide made a few bucks and then it was like nah gotta get gotta get back out we ended up back in canada um do more tree planting so we basically just pulled the pin again went back more tree planting another beautiful incredible season even more incredible the next time because we planted for multiple companies and it starts to get in your blood tree planting because you start to get really good at it and then you start to make money and you just like become a tree planter and it's like very beautiful uh experience to have done so we did that And off the back of that, we got another van.

No, we jumped in with a buddy, Rob, and then we ended up in the burning man festival in 2010.

So that was, um, I was, again, still just this prolific experience of, of, of rolling into burning man.

Um, and I don't know if you're familiar.

Well, you are because I seen you there, but, um, a couple of years later, that's where we met after burning man.

But yeah, All the people that don't know Burning Man is like, it's kind of like initiation.

So you go there and you get initiated into Burning Man.

And funnily enough, all those rules I was talking about, that's what applies in Burning Man.

It's like the same.

It's like fucking Burning Man, dude.

You know, like Burning Man used to be accessible to normal people.

And now it's like I've seen interviews where they're like, how much did you spend going to Burning Man? I don't know.

I just feel like doing German accents today.

Oh, you're great at it.

Yeah.

Get the fuck out of here.

I'm living a full life.

Worldly life everything that you could think of right and I Personally after a Burning Man concert had my own personal Demonic attack, right? And so this this gets into like a cultism and maybe like the stuff, the stuff that Jehovah's Witnesses talk about, they're like not allowed to talk about, quote unquote.

And maybe the thing that happened with my stepdad, maybe or maybe not.

But for me, after Burning Man meetup, it's the it was the Colorado, Colorado regional Burning Man meetup.

I had experiences with entity attachment.

Uh, sleep paralysis, uh, vivid dreams.

Aliens are supposedly revealing themselves to mankind.

I just got back from the Burning Man.

The alien idea was everywhere.

Little alien stickers and plushy aliens and alien blow-up dolls.
