claustrophobia

Well, Eminem found a term that rhymes with orange.

Claustrophobia.

We have a lot of phobias in English, but most aren't known.

Most are only used by doctors, psychiatrists, but claustrophobia is very well known.

Earlier we talked about spiders being arachnids because they have eight legs.

Arachnophobia is pretty well known to mean the fear of spiders.

Claustrophobia, also well known.

That is a strong fear of small closed places like an elevator.

Unable to scream, unable to shed tears, unable to move around and unable to sense much beyond the ground below her.

Claustrophobia barely described it.

There had to be a word far more fitting, though she didn't know of any.

All she could do was hope that her body would stop changing.

I'm not big on corn mazes because you guys all know I'm super claustrophobic.

And Claustrophobia is not just this tiny enclosed space.

Claustrophobia to me also means I can't get

out.

Oh, yes.

Calor-

Claustrofobia.

Polvo.

Sí, sí, sí.

And Francis Lawrence shot The Hunger Games to reflect that.

He often kept the camera really tight on her, capturing that reactive claustrophobia.

claustrophobia. So you feel as trapped as she does.

Exactly.

Red Rising, however, is not a survival story.

Now, if you don't have the same hang-ups as me about diving, you're still gonna probably go, okay, Like premise-wise, this was fun.

Claustrophobia-wise, not loving it.

I do want to give a compliment on the practical feeling effects of a lot of this film.

You know, when he is, not a spoiler, but when he's inside the whale, it feels like the actor is in a tactile space and has things to interact with and all that sort of stuff.

Yeah, like, I've got, I've got a phobia, but it's not a weird one.

Claustrophobia, like a lot of people have that.

Like it's-

You're pretty intense with it, though.

Yeah.

Claustrophobia is like if I, you know, if you're trapped under the desk or whatever, that'd be claustrophobia.

But, um, agoraphobia is a fear of g- of open spaces.

So people, sometimes people don't go.
