Episode 999: What to Expect Now That The Celtics Are Back

All right, back to Celtics.

Sam, who are you most looking forward to watching this season? Or it doesn't even matter the player.

It can be a who, it can be a what, it can be anything you want.

What's the Celtics thing you're looking forward to?

I'll do a zag, and I'll say the NBA Cup.

This is the time.

The time is now.

You have... us three on one team, you have the garden report on another team that's in your group.

It is the weakest NBA cup group I've ever seen in my life.

There is no excuse not to advance from your group.

They advanced the first year.

They haven't advanced since they've always had like a, Oh, I can't believe they lost this game game in the group stage and they need to take advantage.

They look like a well-oiled machine in the preseason.

Their group is Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, and Charlotte.

They're basically playing the Southwest Division, the sorriest division you've ever seen, without Giannis, the best guy in the division.

Atlanta's like the only, oh, maybe they're a little bit scary team.

They played you pretty well last year.

They beat you in the last game in Atlanta.

I think the matchup with them is down there.

I could be wrong on that, but I think it's an away game.

Jack might know better than me because you plan to travel.

Yeah, I want to see an NBA Cup win.

It's about time.

Get some more hardware in the trophy case.

We can all start to glorify the Cup in the way that it should be glorified.
