Remember last season he was the number one, and if Maxey is there, he's at least co-number one, and any time Embiid and LeBron plays, he pushes way back.

But the value of getting what he does, he's still more valuable than, say, where a nine-cat ranking will tell you he was, like, 90th or whatever it told you last season.

What did it actually tell you? That Jaylen Brown was, um, yeah, 63rd, which of course is nonsense, right? I've got Matas Buzelis there.

Now, you don't have to take Matas Buzelis in that third, fourth round range because he's ranked at 83 on Yahoo! Now, that is going to change.

If the Sixers don't have Bron, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey this year, they're not g- their, their, their depth's gonna be razor thin.

They're not gonna be very good.

Jaylen Brown, Giannis, Kawhi.

I don't think it makes sense for the Nets to get aggressively in the bidding for these types of guys that, A, have a bit of a shorter shelf life compared to some other guys that could become available later, and B, if, like, they're just so behind that it's, it's unlikely these guys would be fully bought in unless they had other moves lined up.

And it's gonna be very hard to get that second move lined up.

Yeah, we'll talk more about that later.

But I agree with you.

I mean, like, the Giannis, the Jaylen Brown, the Kawhi, I don't think any of that made sense.

I think Jaylen Brown's probably the one who you could have the most interesting discussion about just because he's the youngest of that bunch, and we did a 45-minute podcast with us and, uh, Mike Scotto earlier, earlier in the off-season, so go check that out.

It was a fantastic move.

But those restricted free agents, the Peyton Watson, Jonathan Kuminga, what's going on with Jalen Dern right now, who still hasn't signed, by the way, The Jalen Brown trade, the Thunder just potting off Lou Dort and Aaron Wiggins and Atlanta Hawks, two really good players.

It's all about staying under the second apron because now you can draft really, really well and you're punished for it because you can't pay everybody anymore.

The Magic believed they could.

It doesn't seem as though they actually wanted to trade with Boston.

Knowing what we know now about Jalen Brown's trade value, it seems like they were kind of just a scare tactic.

And if that was the case, they managed it very, very well.

What we've been talking about for the past year is that the real sin here for Milwaukee is that they just didn't act quickly enough.

The last thing I want to say about the Bucs is that we should also point out they have this very unusual ownership structure that I think is not even potentially destructive, has in the past been destructive.

where the governorship changes every five years, they alternate terms, where it's Wes Edens gets one of them, and he's the governor until 2028.

Jimmy Haslam, the owner of the Cleveland Browns, if you're a football fan, you know how scary those words are, becomes the governor in 2028, and they alternate every five years.

You want to have stable leadership where you know who's making the decisions and who has the power in an organization.

Number four, Jalen Williams.

Number three, Jaylen Brown.

Number two, Cooper Flagg.

And at number one, undisputed best small forward in the league, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics from that point on.

Uh, Ka- almost led that Clippers team into the playoffs.

Was in the play-in, pretty much got, you know, bounced out, but had a really good year in general.

Jaylen Brown obviously was the MVP candidate last year.

Cooper Flagg beat out Kyle Knipple, which shouldn't happen, but it happened [laughs], ladies and gentlemen.

The Sixers are the best team in the East right now.

Did you see all the talent that they have? They have LeBron James, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brown, Joel Embiid, Vijay Edgecombe.

They got themselves a bench.

Yes, they got swept by the Knicks, but now they're better.

They have no time put in.

Nothing.

The Boston Celtics, they have the same team minus Jalen Brown and replaced that with a highly injury-prone PG-13.

So I don't know why anybody's talking about Boston.

That's where I kind of stand with them.

Jalen Brown, LeBron James, Tyrese Maxey, that's going to be a great trio.

And then Embiid, when available, just is a tough team.

Vijay Edgecombe, whatever he develops into next year.

Joel Embiid will be playing a healthy NBA season again.

The Sixers will actually be the most safe roster in the NBA because of that.

The European by-trade office is actually clicking with Nick Nurse, so Tyrese Maxey, LeBron, and Jalen Brown are just scoring lights out.

Same with Embiid, of course, as well.
