He made his open threes at times, but as you've said on this show, Jack, we need to see Jordan Walsh be more willing to take the threes when they're not wide open, when someone's closing out, and that is part of what the next step is.

Yeah, it, it's, it's, it's that, but it's also just with the ball in his hands, he just needs to think quicker, right? It's less about whether or not he takes the threes and more about making a decision.

Like, if he's gonna close out, drive and close out.

The, the problem that I think Jordan Walsh has breaking through in terms of a consistent role over j- uh, Baylor, over Ugo, over, you know, Ron Harper Jr. even potentially next season, is the offensive end, where he just, he hasn't really been able to put it together from a quick-thinking standpoint relative to those guys.

Yeah, and when you're playing in a system like Boston's where they are playing a fair amount of iso ball, but when the opportunities come your way, you have to be ready, you have to be able to keep the play going.

And as Jack said, like, sometimes the possessions would stop, and the Celtics get put behind whatever their scheme was, right? Like, they have less time on the shot clock to execute than they would've if the ball just kept moving or a quick decision was made, then you're kinda stuck.

You have to kinda deal with a broken play after that, and it makes things a lot more difficult for you on that end of the floor.

Uh, Kyrie Irving is a guy that I think would be a great fit alongside Cade Cunningham at the number two, just as long as he's healthy.

Jack Simone of Pistons Powered wrote that according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line, teams around the NBA are currently wondering how long the Mavericks will try to hold onto Irving instead of moving him.

Uh, Jack Simone goes on to say that when the Mavs needed an offensive partner to lift up Luka Dončić, Irving was their guy.

Why couldn't he do the same thing for Cade Cunningham? This really stuck out to me, you guys, and I understand there's a lot of hate around Kyrie Irving.

Yeah, the Pistons did not go and get a number two for Cade Cunningham this off season, but they did add a lot of other, you know, a lot of other pieces to this team, uh, and helped fix a lot of different areas that we needed to improve in, shooting being one of them.

Uh, so Jack Simone of Pistons Powered reported that the Pistons have nailed their mix of top talent.

They have found their franchise centerpiece.

Cade Cunningham is one of the best point guards in the NBA, and he's playing like it.
