Washington Wizards

This is by far the biggest category.

Hornets, Mavs, Warriors, Grizzlies, Pelicans, Suns, Blazers, Jazz, and Wizards.

I think of that list, I think Charlotte may disappoint some people.

I think Dallas may disappoint some people.

Portland will be good.

The Jazz will be better.

And I think the Wizards could be a little better too.

And then you get to the non-competitive tiers with the Bulls, Kings, Nets, Clippers, and Bucs.

And we went on to decimate the Atlanta Hawks.

But I found it so funny that even while Trae Young was on the Washington Wizards, they still were screaming F Trey Young.

It goes to show you how much we hate this guy.

And speaking of the Washington Wizards, I do have a lot of questions, especially with Trey Young now shifting from the Atlanta Hawks A team he spent years on to now this new team who drafted an amazing rookie in AJ DeBonsta, pairing him up with Anthony Davis, right? And a ton of amazing role players and bench players.

The question that comes to mind is how well is he going to fit on this lineup and is he going to continue to be a menace in Madison Square Garden? Do you think Knicks fans are still going to have that energy for Trae Young when we eventually face off against the Washington Wizards? If I had to guess...

My answer would be yeah.

Yeah, we gonna give him the Trae Young treatment.

So that's where I think it's going.

Oh, it was with the Wizards.

It was against the Wizards, not the Nets.

I was wrong.

Okay, Richard Diemport said they also had six rotation players out.

Now you pick and let's see what you get.

My spin is the 70s Washington Bullets, I guess, at the time.

Yeah.

And I'm taking Alvin Hayes at my power forward.

These players do still exist though, and it's starting to feel like teams are almost gearing more towards that again and remembering how important real size and physicality can be.

For example, the Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, and San Antonio Spurs.

Instead of taking a big, like a Henry Vassar, who has a really intriguing skill set offensively, can put the ball on the floor, can shoot, can pass.

They shifted to guys who are stronger, set better screens, and rebound the ball better.

Orlando Magic, 2010.

October 5th at Philly.

October 8th versus the Wizards.

October 12th versus the Timberwolves.

And then October 15th versus the Raptors.

That's why I didn't consider them.

Obviously, there's still the Wizards.
