Good morning, Hope.

Good morning.

You can open up your Bible to John chapter 1.

I'm just gonna open our time, uh, again in prayer.

We can never pray too much, uh, in the Lord's gathering.

We have some of our young men, uh, that go out to, um, uh, regional areas of Queensland, to churches that don't have pastors or to communities that don't have churches.

And, uh, this morning we have Damon who is out in, uh, uh, not too far away, just down in Boonah.

They've been without a pastor for a while and, uh, just have a, a new pastor been called, so he's our final guy to go and preach to them.

But over that gathering we also have Pastor Chris who's planting a church over in Ipswich, and that is a year in, one bapt- mon- one baptism service in, has just occurred for them a couple weeks ago, which is a great grace.

Uh, we have the Cannons with us here who represent Antioch, uh, Baptist Fellowship back in Kathmandu.

So I'm just gonna pray over our time together and, uh, also over the other saints with whom we have such brotherly love and fellowship.

Father God, we thank you for, uh, this gathering, that we can join in today to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, give glory to your name, and, uh, be exhorted to faithfulness in our understanding and in our living.

Father God, we think of our brothers and sisters who are around the globe, uh, those in Kathmandu that we may not know by name, but you do, and they are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We pray that as they have gathered this weekend, that they would be, uh, kept safe by your sovereign hands, that you would give them boldness in the face of persecution, and understanding of the scriptures so that they can live as a light, uh, before pagan, uh, neighbors.

We pray, Lord God, for our, uh, uh, brother Chris and, uh, Tony and the team who are laboring over in Ipswich.

Would you grant them souls this morning to be converted by the gospel of Jesus, and continue to grow that fellowship and that congregation.

Uh, Father God, we ask that with Damon and through the word that he's speaking, that your Spirit will be present to convict hearts, to convert souls, and to edify that church that now, uh, after this season, has a pastor and they can, uh, get on with their, uh, uh, work as a fully functional congregation.

We, we ask all these things, Lord God, because we know you love the church.

We know you have given your promises to the church.

And, uh, we ask, uh, also that you would give us government and, uh, uh, rulers and kings and magistrates and all these things that are able to allow us to thrive and to flourish in the Great Commission work.

We pray all these things in the name of your most holy and exalted Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

And all God's people said?

Amen.
