And on one hand, it's incredibly simple what you were trying to communicate, but at the same time was profound in terms of what its impact could be, right? And so one of the things that stood out to me this morning, you know, I guess I was thinking about the statistics, the confronting statistics that I think you mentioned this morning, right? Would you mind recapping some of those for us here? And then maybe also go, well, the question I had in the back of my mind while you were speaking was, how did we get here? Right? Because I listened to those statistics.

I think we're saying, if I'm recalling correctly, there was a distinction between when you look at how people engage with Scripture versus news outlets and social media and everything else, quite a big gap between those two.

How did we get here? Do you mind recapping some of those stats and maybe walking us through maybe what your perspective is on how we got here?

So 100 times the amount we spend on social media, scrolling, then engaged in the Bible.

A really simple way of thinking about social media, like when you step back from it, is social media is us.


We need to quieten the voices culturally around us, and we need to really intentionally press in to hearing from God which primarily should come from scripture for the Bible believing Christian, like theologically, the primary, not the only way we hear from God, but the foundational primary way we hear from God should be scripture.
