Did they become bigger than Lost?
Um, we have a tradition here at First Time on Set.
Nice little conversation to get the juices flowing.
Admittedly, I haven't watched a movie in a week since our last episode, so I will not be presenting in front of the class.
Lael, do you have anything to talk about?
Reverse.
Reverse.
[laughs]
[laughs] I'm guessing that's a no?
Yeah, it's a no. [laughs]
[laughs]
Um, oh, yeah, I saw three movies yesterday.
Thought that movie was way better than I thought it was gonna be.
For a period piece too during the Great Depression era, I thought it was definitely gonna bore me at some point, but I was completely invested and immersed into the story from beginning to end, and Ethan Hawke gave a really good performance.
I enjoyed it for what it is, um, but I, I do wish the film could've tried to be a little bit more.
But I'm, I'm still...
I, I, I would never say that movie is bad.
And, uh, Forgotten Island is a, the new DreamWorks animated movie that also is showcasing a lot of Filipino culture, which I think is really cool.
And, it, the whole message of that film is about friendship and friendship being able to last past, um, you know, just adolescence, which I thought was just a cool message to give kids.
