Episode 501 - Top 25 College Football Prediction Show Week 6

Uh, look, there wasn't a, a ton of surprises across the board.

Probably two here.

Uh, we'll start with, uh, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Anthony.

38-14 in this one.

Uh, like we had chatted about last week, I don't really know what Georgia cares or doesn't care, uh, about in this game.

Uh, not enough to bet certainly.

And they're playing, uh, Alabama this weekend, which the entire world will be watching.

I think it's smart when coaches do this and they don't show their entire playbook the week before.

What is your belief in that?

Um, I don't know.

I don't think any of those games work.

Really?

No.

So you think they're all like, "Hey..." W- let, let me ask you this, 'cause this is what I always, uh, I, I w- I wonder about Ohio State.

Why not just gas it and go for 60 points a game? Who gives a shit? Um, but then you'll hear these pressers afterwards where they're like, "Well, we didn't really wanna open up the playbook to show the other team what we had." Who gives a shit?

That's just the dumbest thing.

That's what I think.

Uh, there, there's absolutely no point in hiding your capabilities from somebody else.

It's one thing if you're a [clears throat] if you're a pitcher and you don't wanna show a guy a certain pitch.

Okay, fine.

You have a trick play.

You don't wanna show your trick play they're gonna use at some point, whatever.

But there's 25, 30 plays in your playbook, and you're gonna run 15 to 20 of them and you, you don't think that the other team knows that...

Look, you haven't invented new plays.

You haven't invented new plays, and coaching staffs are using AI now.
