Yeah, the Dodgers and Padres starting a three-game series tonight at Dodger Stadium.

Dodgers have wrapped up the National League West.

You know, kind of some minor housekeeping thing.

Dodgers four wins away from a 100, and they're trying to run down the Brewers.

They're still trail Milwaukee by two games.

Really, it's three because they have to have a better record than Milwaukee for the best record in the National League and the number one seed.

Dodgers with a four-game lead over Atlanta for that number two seed.

That's all but locked up.

Dodgers just need to hang on to that.

The Braves have already won the division, so they're in as well.

Dodgers trying to avoid a first-round wildcard series.

And for the Padres...

Man, they come in as the hottest team in baseball.

They've won 13 out of 14, five in a row, nine out of 10, 13 out of 14, and they've caught the Cubs for the best wild card in the National League.

Right now, even though they have the same record, they are the second wild card because they've lost a tiebreaker to the Cubs.

So right now it's the Cubs, the Padres, and the Phillies as the top three wild card, meaning that the Padres would play the Cubs first, in the wild card.

So San Diego trying to actually turn that into getting some home games during that wild card series.

And if the Padres end up with one of the top two wild card series, one of the top two wild card spots, the Dodgers would not play San Diego in the division series.

The Dodgers would play the winner of Atlanta, Philadelphia.

In other words, whoever Atlanta plays in the wild card, The Dodgers would play them in the division series.

So a lot of machinations, a lot of moving around over these last six games for the Dodgers as they try to rampage their way to their third consecutive World Series titles.

A lot still to play for for the Dodgers.

And it looks like we're going to get our look at Rokey Sasaki.

Probably tonight he's been activated off the I.L. Rokey hasn't pitched since August 26th with a blister.

Two earned runs or less in his last six starts.
