Um, but I, I think, you know, for me that I've seen, the, the teams that go deeper in the postseason right now are the teams that can have their starters that can go deep into the game and, and, and use their bullpen sparsely in, in the, uh, in the playoffs.

So, um, for me, I'ma always lean towards, you know, better starting pitching, and I think if you can consistently get that in October, um, like with the Dodgers have lined themselves up with Scuba, um, you know, Glasnow if he can get all the way right, Snell, and then Yamamoto.

Um, you won't even need, um, Otani to, to start.

And then you got him and, and, uh, and Mashi to be able to come out the bullpen maybe.

They came into the season talking about that.

And, you know, now is the time to kinda, you know, buckle down and get ready to do that.

And, and I want them to show me, you know, the last couple of weeks, whether it's Skubal, Glasnow, Snell's been nasty, but Yamamoto, all these different guys.

Lineup needs to get healthy, and they need to be able to, to show the real Dodgers or the Dodgers that we see on paper down the stretch to be able to win this World Series.

It's like otherwise the

Well, last night in Cincinnati, Yamamoto was dealing.

While the Dodgers got a little closer to clinching, Yoshinobu Yamamoto got the start.

The right-hander went seven innings, allowed just one hit.

That's it, one hit, while striking out 10 along the way.

Little oppo boppo down the left field line just over the wall for a home run, his fourth the season.

Dodgers up four to nothing.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, he would go the seven innings.

He allowed only a third inning double to Ellie Daly-Cruz.

We brought this up yesterday after we talked to you.

How would you describe it? Is it competition? Is it friendly banter? Is it a rivalry between these big three starters? Are they constantly pushing each other? Is there a game of one-upsmanship? How would you describe that relationship between Scooble, Yamamoto, and Snell right now?

Well, I could say this, Matt.

As I was in the camera well, which is right next to the dugout with no barrier between us, Dino Ebel and Blake Snell, the last two nights have hit me up with conversation, and Snell came up to me and I said, yeah.

I checked what you did the last time here, and he said, I'm not going to do that tomorrow night, but I do need to go seven because Scooble went seven scoreless the first night.

Yamamoto went seven scoreless last night.

So in that respect, there is that fear.

competition where they're trying to match or top the other guy that responsibility of having to go seven innings after what those two guys did is certainly in play but the relationship between snell and scooble has become organically great scoobles made snell better as a teammate he's made him better as a pitcher he's had a great influence on him and vice versa and um you know snell uh came in today after he changed he usually doesn't talk you know he locks in really when he starts to put his uniform on and goes into that pre-game meeting but he uh he uh let me in on a conversation between him and skubal about 30 minutes ago and they were having a playful banter that skubal outed snell as being the funniest teammate on the team so uh you know they they have a great brotherly type of relationship but skubal has been Such an inclusive teammate and really has brought the best out of Blake Snell.

I don't, that'd be great.
