And it's been nice a little bit to take a step away from it, even though I do love it, but I still do get to make videos and go to events and interview people to some extent, which I do love.

I never really thought about that, diving into all the stats and the back end and seeing all the sales, transactions, searches and everything.

We have a gentleman named Andrew Almasy who works for us at StockX, and part of what he helps us do is... take this giant amount of data we have over the last 10 years and, and understand it and interpret it different ways.

So if, if someone says, Oh, it feels like Supreme is back or this last Supreme collection really feels like more interesting or more popping on resale than it has been in years, we can see, and we can look at the data and determine whether or not that's accurate and say, wow, Supreme Margella hoodie really is going crazy right now in a way that items haven't for the past few years.

That's, that's of note or like, Um, some of the stuff I've been looking at lately with the team at StockX is like regional differences and where people are consuming certain sneakers.

So like we just did a couple of pieces of content around this, but like the Asics gel 1130, which feels like such a huge shoe and such a popular shoe.

There's all these states in the east that have A6 gel 1130s, but the further west you go, it just falls off.

I'm super interested in that, and I think that that's something that's lacking is this kind of empirical approach.

I think that's, like, the part, too, that people that watch the content and they're always, like, so judgy about other people's collections and stuff, which is also weird to me.

But the fact that they still don't play that into the factor of, like, you're typically a product of your environment.

you come up around this era you see this stuff you admire so-and-so your big cousin whoever that was wearing stuff like you like it too so you want to get that and if that wasn't a part of your west coast east coast thing then right you're naturally just not for it and it just is what it is

but it's hard for people to admit because everybody wants to be a free thinker but i think it's okay to admit that you are shaped by these things or that you did fall victim to the hype sometimes or like none of us are none of us are immune to
