Um, anyway, so about this podcast we do, um, [laughs] I was gonna talk about a major, major left turn into being professional, agents and ethics, because the American Association for Amer- oh, Association of American Literary Agents has released an update to their Canon of Ethics, which I thought was interesting.

There is no professional organization that dictates what agents can and cannot do.

You do not need to be a member or get approved or anything if you wanna be an agent.

But it makes you look better if you actually follow the, there is this organization, and you can get membership, and it, it, having membership makes you look a little bit better than the guy who just like, you know, scratched some chalk off a whiteboard.

Scratched some chalk off a chalkboard and then wrote, "Billy, literary agent, come inside." Um, so they talk a lot about things like, you know, we know that, that, that we talk about here.

the bank account for the, I guess for their money, and then the money that the, uh, client, uh, earns.
