that there was good i did mention that there was good uh you know injury news that was the tease and now we'll actually talk about uh the injury report good place to start here um there's a lot of players limited but the good news is that kendall daniels is somehow a full participant uh in practice and he's not in the concussion protocol apparently um this is all incredible news after really scary injury um and you know we obviously got the news after the game that he was able to return to the locker room you know on his own and and that that was a good sign but um they weren't able you know they're not saying oh he's for sure gonna play yet or whatever but Right now, it looks like it's definitely not at least a serious injury if he's fully practicing Joe.

And it sounded like the coaching staff was really happy to have that positive of an outcome after a really scary moment on Sunday.

And the way that he sounded, because we talked to him today after practice, he sounded like he was fine to play.

And that was basically just going to be up to the team, up to the trainers, whether they would basically permit him to play.

But if he's a full participant today, I would imagine that he's... therefore tracking to play, which I know sounds crazy, just considering what he went through on Sunday.

But, um, we were able to kind of, he was able to take us a little bit more through what he was going through during the whole time.

So when it's not a head injury, they're not, he's not like being treated for concussion symptoms or anything like that.

So, um, that probably would have been definitely would have been more problematic in terms of his return immediately.

And he said that like, even when he was down there, he was, you know, he's lying motionless on the field, but he just said that that's because that's what they were telling him to do.

And so he was, you know, fully at his wits the entire time and um everything that they were doing was essentially a precautionary move so um you know i think the nfl are you know the trainers are gonna you know obviously be sensitive to anything that could potentially be serious like that obviously and when they see that kind of a replay i didn't even see the play um really super closely as it happened i was doing something else and they didn't really show many replays so all in all really really good news for the falcons and they really could they i mean they really need kind of kendall to play because of what they're also dealing with With Divine Diablo not practicing today, obviously having gone out of that game early.

The defense just continues taking hits, and it's why I didn't necessarily lead off the show with talking about defensive issues, because I feel like the defensive issues are really simple.

They're just down six starters, and I feel like it's kind of miraculous that the defense has continued to Play as well as they have in spurts.
