C.J. Henderson

I think they really like that he's available in case they have an injury.

Although CJ Henderson like came out for one series and absolutely delivered.

So good for him.

That's what you want to see.

I just feel like he should be passed at this point.

And I think that was one of the reasons why CJ Henderson is on his second or third team in the NFL because you've got to work your way out of that because you're just too good of a quarterback to begin to get done up like that.

And it wasn't like we was just way uber more talented than those guys because those guys that came after me and Quincy, and before me and Quincy, that you're probably a little bit more quote unquote talented.

Like Vernon Hargraves, Marco Wilson, CJ Henderson.

You know, those guys, when you put them in a box, those guys may be a little bit better than us when we go out here and do DD drills and do all those kinds of things.

And those guys play with the same mindset as well.

No, I don't think they were going to keep him because of the cost.

Like, I think they would be like, well, maybe C.J. Henderson wasn't like exactly as good in coverage, but he's like a third of the price.

So we're probably going to keep C.J. Henderson.

Yeah.

And so I think with this trade, you know, I think to me it feels like the Falcons are like, we think Javon Dexter is going to be one of our four pass rushers, right? Where, as you discussed, Kevin, getting pressure with four guys is going to be a challenge potentially this year.

Like, I mean, that was incredible.

And it continued in subsequent games.

So you do wonder, like, obviously you want to keep, you know, obviously that's, I think, as we saw throughout the precinct the special teams looked really really good and so this is the falcons being like okay let's let's make it even better by having both two two mike fords are better than one right so uh we'll see how that translates but it does lead to a log jam of corners And then you throw C.J. Henderson in the mix and it's like, oh, C.J., you kind of struggled against those Dolphins backups, my guy.

So apparently they're like, we're going to just have a bunch of special teams corners here.

And then it's actually CJ Henderson that is the depth outside corner.

Clark Phillips traded as a part of the Gervon Dexter Sr. trade.

So that's a little interesting, too.

And that does make Darnay Holmes a little bit more expendable.

So we'll see on that with DeWalt and Henderson.

uh, CJ Henderson, the other corner that the Falcons are keeping, uh, for the seven DB, seven corners that the Falcons are keeping.

Um, you know, we talked about, you know, the battle between Henderson Phillips and Kobe Bryant, uh, as well as Darnay Holmes, uh, in July.

And we said back in July that, you know, of that quartet, we would personally, uh, you know, we, me, myself and my ego, um, You know, would personally keep Henderson of that group.

But then watching Henderson, you know, struggle against the Dolphins backups really soured me on him.

I think he's still a capable cover corner.
