621: white ceramic apple white

So the rumor wizard Mark Gurman reported about some changes coming to Apple stores.

One of these is a dedicated Genius Bar is going to be making a return, says Mark.

The design resembles Genius Bars of the past, but with an all wooden look.

And the Genius Bars and these new Avenue Bays.

Avenue is what they call the kind of like the long table.

So they put products.

They're going to be designed to mesh with existing stores, look better integrated.

They're going to have a pickup area coming to stores as well.

Stephen, as a former genius, I wanted to get your feeling about this.

Stephen Hackett, no longer a genius, but is here with us now.

I've been gone a long time, but when I was there, I mean, it was a long time ago.

We had a genius bar.

We had a point of sale up front.

You could just like get in line and check out.

I think the number one complaint people have about the Apple stories of this confusing that you walk in, hopefully someone stops you at the door.

Hey, what are you here for? And they direct you, hey, go to that table.

And they have iPad minis.

And what they're doing is they're like making a little note about like, oh, this handsome Italian man with the tattoos is in a black t-shirt.

And then when it's time for Federico to get his phone fixed, And hopefully he's in the area they sent him to, but they also have a description of him.

It's a mess.

I mean, we've all experienced it.

It's frustrating.

It's like a stupid system, right? It is.

It's

bad.
