EP 3: The Sweet, Sour, and Spicy Players in Fantasy Football

big thing that happened for us on Saturday there was our fantasy football draft for our league of record Talking about some post-draft clarity, and man, I have no clue how I was able to get such a good team.

I am just dumbfounded by the amount of good players that fell to me.

Mainly, Jamar Chase falling to me at 6 was something that just changed my entire draft strategy.

but i so for you definitely on paper have probably the best 14 team league fantasy team ever made like if you posted you did post that and i'm shocked there's not more comments being like this is bait because you know when you see people post their fantasy football drafts and they're like how did i do and it's either it's like a two-person league where they have all of the top names or it's like just absolutely terrible, all the worst picks.

And it's like, this is engagement bait.

Yours looks like engagement bait, but you really did it.

And some of those are because you and I drafted back to back in our draft.

Some of those are I was eyeing up a player and you took them right before I did.

And then sometimes it was we just didn't agree on who the best person was.

in a given area I do think in round three I shouldn't have I should have taken Malik neighbors yeah Malik

neighbors was a steal I mean there's still a lot of you know unknowns about the injury he's trending towards starting the season but I wouldn't be surprised if he was out like one or two games but all signs are go for Malik neighbors for record I My team ended up looking like this.

So at the QB position, I have Joe Burrow.

Running backs, I have J.K. Dobbins and Basial Tootin.

My wide receivers are Jamar Chase and Malik Neighbors.

Tight end was filled by Brock Bowers there in the second round.

Chris Godwin Jr. and Parker Washington are my two flexes.

Went with the Bears defense because they're playing Carolina week one and Jake Bates was my kicker.

My five flex spots were Blake Corum, TJ Hawkinson, Jacoby Lane, Jordan Mason, and Jalen Knoll.

So really just excited to get, for one, to have Jamar Chase drop to me, which I was not expecting to happen.

And two, to have the stack with Joe Burrow, you know, it If it's like any other year, that is a fantasy league winning stack right there.

So very, very happy with that.

And the fact that I got Bowers and Neighbors to really just boost this team even more.

It's true.

The only area I would say could have any improvement is potentially the running back, but that's entirely dependent on We've talked about J.K. Dobbins just being a really good pick in this year's draft because of how low he's going.

I think he's a starter.
