Blake Corum

You know, a tough matchup last week, but we saw that this Bears defense, Bears offense is going to run the ball a lot, and Monangai is a part of that.

Blake Corum going up against the Giants.

Kalon Black with a really nice matchup going up, up against, uh, the Miami Dolphins.

Those are all guys that I think about benching, or I'm sorry, starting ahead of Marshon Lloyd this week.

Need some advice here.

My fantasy mate, um, Amos, have offered me Emeka Egbuka and Blake Corum, and he gets to receive Malik Nabers." So essentially, it's Nabers for Egbuka and Corum.

He gets Nabers.

It's great for them if Kaylon Black is decent, but this isn't a situation like... [sniffs] And it's also not the same prices, right? But this isn't a situation like Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, where the backup is clearly the superior runner, and maybe the pie doesn't split wide enough for both of them.

Now, in both cases, the starter is likely to get almost all of the receptions and so you could lose a lot of the work.

But Christian McCaffrey's workload is so vast that the amount that he would actually have to lose over the course of a full season, not just one game.

It, it kind of goes back to how much confidence do you have in all of these preseason lines where the Rams are projected to score a lot of points basically every week, and to create this very, very high floor.

And with that very high floor, you either get both Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.

And Blake Corum much more than Kalen Black seems like the guy where if you're gonna take someone who had low value touches and looked good on low value touches even though you couldn't have successfully played them in week one, but you're now like, "I wanna use a priority pick on someone," it would probably be Corum, because he looked fantastic.

I don't trust it yet.

Likely plus Antonio Williams for Andrews and Corum and Black.

I, I think I'd probably rather have Likely right now unless you have a better situation at, at tight end that we don't know about and then Andrews isn't the, the factor here.

I love Corum and Black.

That's fantastic.

But I think Likely deserves more right now.

T'LA's top, top five quarterback.

Claiborne worth the stash? Absolutely, but it depends on how, you know, how long you can wait, 'cause he's not ready now.

They, they might've had something going.

Kyren and, and Blake Corum had a combined 52% success rate.

Corum was hitting explosives.

Like, they were moving it on-

Like it can only get better here for the Los Angeles Rams.

Kyron Williams, Blake Corum's a pretty even split.

I think they're both startable options in this matchup.

Kyron Williams is going to get the touchdown and the passing work more so, but still probably the go-to guy in that backfield.

It was still pretty even.

We'll have to see how this all shakes out, but for now, just avoid the tight ends.

Fukunagawa, Devante Adams, Kyron Williams, Blake Corum in a pinch, and Stafford, if you have him and, like, you lost Kyler Murray or, you know, you're looking elsewhere for some disappointing performances that maybe have some tough matchups here going forward.

One thing I will say as a Niners fan watching that game, I was scared to death of Blake Corum.

Whenever he touched the ball, it was like a different, like it just looked different than Kyron Williams.

Kyron Williams, of course, got his, got the touchdown.

He had a good game.

But Blake Corum, he was shot out of a cannon.

Now, the Rams run game was one that did work very well against the 49ers.

Blake Corum, 10 carries, 54 yards.

Obviously, that made it a very easy average to figure out a 5.4. Kyrene Williams 11 carries 41 yards and a touchdown and then Ronnie Rivers 5 carries for 19 yards Rams overall 122 yards on the day there and there's two offensive linemen specifically that did really really well run blocking that first week and that's Coleman Shelton, the center, who won 24 out of 27 run block reps.

And right tackle Warren McLennan, who won 25 out of 27 run block snaps.

They have the 49ers in week two.

Blake Corum and Kyle Williams had some success against the 49ers over there in Australia.

Obviously, the Rams were not ready to go, but there may be some running lanes for Devon A-chain.

Hopefully, he's going to bounce back in week two.
