1793: The Highest Transcendence Through Passionate Love | The Rāsa Dance Begins

Just look at this verse as a meditation, right? I, someone should paint this.

"When one gro- gopi grew tired from the rasa dance, she turned to Krishna.

Standing at her side, holding a baton," right, Krishna was standing at her side holding this baton, "and she grasped his shoulder with her arm.

The dancing had loosened her bracelets and the flowers in her hair." I mean, that just has to be the most stunning portrait of all time, you know? The, the, the bliss, you know, in, in their faces and the beauty, you know, in their faces and their bodies.

It m- it's just, this is what's worthy of meditation, you know.

This is where our minds, where we should constantly take our minds and allow them to dwell, you know, and, and remember these kind of images.

W- these are images...

You know, I was thinking, you know, we hear so much about, and, and we'll hear more at the end of this chapter, how th- what's being expressed here, it's hard for us to understand because we, because deep within our mind and our senses is the idea that the love that we conceive of is a love where you're always taking.

Like, the, they, Prabhupada said that the love of the mother is the closest thing that we have to what love is in this world, right? Because, like, real, you know, lo- the spiritual level.

And I was thinking about, like, when a mother kisses the child, what is she trying to do? She wants the child to feel something, right? Isn't it? When the mother kisses the child, the mother, it's not so much the mother wants to feel it, but the mother wants the child to feel her love.

Isn't that true?
