Central Park

Before we get into co-ops and all that, some of my audience may not be as familiar with the term co-op and, you know, In where I live in California when we say apartment Apartment is in a context of something you just pay every month You don't you know You don't buy an apartment if you bought an apartment you would be the landlord and you would be leasing out the the units In other parts of the world for example, New York one might say I just purchased an apartment It was 12 million dollars.

It was on the 104th floor right in Central Park and the buildings leaning so I So there's these different terminologies.

So first of all, for the sake of my audience that may not be as familiar with that residential lifestyle, explain what a co-op is as it applies to you.

Absolutely.

And he wrote, "Whoever spends the early hours of one summer while the dew spangles the grass in pushing these grass cutters over a velvety lawn, breathing the fresh s- sweetness of the morning air and the perfume of new-mown hay will never rest contented again in the city." And is that not an argument for the lawn? To be able to get up early in a summer morning, dew on the grass, and go out to complete a job, a job with a start and an end, a job that sends you back to the hot coffee in the kitchen with a sense of satisfaction.

Surely it's enough.

You may remember the story we told you earlier this

summer about the carriage horse who died after eating a poisonous plant in Central Park.

His driver now indicating that he wants to sue the city and the Central Park Conservancy.

The two brothers who owned Denise plan to announce an intention to sue the Central Park Conservancy, the Parks Department and other city agencies after their horse died eating a poisonous plant in the park.

The brothers also want the city to not only identify toxic plant life in the park, but remove them to avoid further harm to animals and people.

They cite a case in 2016 where a toxic yew plant was found in a park on 23rd Street after a child went to the emergency room.
