🎙️🔥 S10 EP 17 — COLLEGE FOOTBALL SATURDAY! PITT–VT RECAP, NOTRE DAME–UNC, MIAMI–CLEMSON & THE BIG PLAYS! 🏈💰🔥

I'll go around the big board on this.

I'll start off with you again, Bob, since we were talking about it.

Then Jake, then Ronnie B.

Do you think that some of the mid-majors might try to come together as a super conference, say the Mountain West and the Big Sky, try to build something like the SEC where you've got 12, 14 teams playing and vying for bigger capital, bigger TV deals? Because if this thing goes through and restricts, I think the NCAA for the last couple of years have been trying to claw back that power that they had over college sports for so many years where the NIL was breaking that up.

But, Bob, go ahead.

Well, you know, the thing is, right now, I think with this portal and everything else going on, paying the players, I think we're seeing college football get ruined because of it.

I think something's got to be done to limit the amount of transferring that they do, but also make the conferences better.

And, you know, Mountain West right now in the big sky, they don't get any respect.

Maybe, you know, you look at the teams that are in those conferences, put them together and make another big conference.

There you go.

Break it up, have some of these major ones, get TV deals with them.

You know, SEC has gone nuts from getting their contracts.

You got the Big Ten doing theirs, so why not? But look at the Big Ten used to be just out west here.

Now it goes from west coast to east coast, but it used to be in the central part of the country.

But now you look at that conference and look at the teams, the original teams that are in there.

aren't going to be the major teams that we look at.

Michigan, Ohio State, yeah, name-wise, Penn State ain't doing anything.

And then you've got Rutgers in there.

You've got some of those

teams.

You've got USC that was a stalwart of the Pac-12.

They're going to be on the line today, USC.

We are the home station for USC here in Las Vegas, 107.1 FM, AM 1400.

Jake Poppy, your thoughts.

You were a college athlete.
