Keegan Matheson on the MLB Playoffs and What the Blue Jays Are Missing

I like how serious the coverage of a Dodgers loss is too.

They're no longer chasing three straight.

They need to handle this.

God, I don't know.

The Dodgers don't need to try all year.

And then they show up.

Their first win in this series looks spectacular.

Teoscar hits that home run.

Elite bat flip.

I feel like that bat flip isn't getting enough love because it's the Dodgers.

That was a

bat.

He whipped that bat.

It

was unreal.

It was dangerous, quite frankly.

And the moment the Dodgers lose, we get very, very serious.

You know, I I think this is still marching towards a dream world series matchup given, you know, everything of Ray's Dodgers, which would just be, you know, in terms of narrative delicious, but very, very serious when the Dodgers lose.

And yeah, if you're a Jays fan in a year where nothing good's happened to you, maybe a little morsel.

And also the way they lost to Atlanta took somewhat of a risky decision choosing not to pitch sale and go instead with a bullpen game and their bullpen was absolutely brilliant start to end.

It was incredible.

Man, bullpen games can work.

I'm trying to reframe how I view bullpen games.

Kind of how I had to reframe five, six, eight years ago.

someone getting bumped to the bullpen or a bulk roll as no longer being a demotion, right? I think back to the Blue Jays when they pulled off that bullpen game against the Yankees in the ALDS last year in New York, and they did it perfectly.
