Regardless, um, my Labor team had that weird start where I picked three pitchers and two catchers in my first five picks.

Um, but the reason I did that is because in round four, um, even though I already had pitchers, Mason Miller was still sitting there.

And I was like, "Well, th- I think this is great value." I didn't say, "Oh, I already have two pitchers.

I can't possibly take another one.

I'll have to let L- Mason Miller pass." [laughs] That would've been a big mistake.

Yeah.

And then in round five, even though I already had a catcher, Hunter Goodman, late in round five, was still sitting there, and he was my highest ranked player on my list by a fair amount.

And I was like, "Ah, do I really need to take two catchers early?" And then I was like, "But am I really gonna drop down my list to like quote, like, be balanced? Like, just to take, like, now take an outfielder or something?" I was like, "No.

These guys are all posting up an ERA that is below a .350.

And then Mason Miller does a nice job in terms of being able to close the door.

So circumstance where I do like the Padres here on the run line.

I'm willing to lay up to a -113 there.

I'll give this back to you because I finally pulled up the relievers that I wanted to.

Mason Miller has a 20.6% swinging strike.

Closers is a little bit tough one to predict, but I actually think I have a good core of 12 names here that are going to be very useful in the 2027 fantasy baseball season.

And I think we start at the top with none other than, I don't even think this name is debatable here, it's Mason Miller at number one.

I mean, the guy is electric.

He's got great stuff.

He's over with the San Diego Padres.

Let's talk about his numbers for the season.

Mason Miller has thrown 64 innings.

He has five wins.

Is this about Wandi Peralta and Randy Vasquez? Yeah.

But John, what was I told yesterday? You can't pitch Adrian Morejon and Bradley and Mason Miller every day.

And that's true.

But the lineup was great.

good tonight like the lineup was fun Cole Carrick had an absolute moon shot Connor Norby goes two for five had a really fun play in the infield in the ninth and that was the case where it was the case where Mason Miller when when you're trailing going in the ninth inning against the Padres Your probability of winning is extremely low, and it was low tonight.

But this felt like a typical Rockies game where the hitting did everything possible and they were let down by the pitching.

So it was just nice to see some live Tovar going one for three.

He can come back and be a late ending weapon alongside.

Of course, Mason Miller, Gavin sheets is out of his walking boots, swing again, the possible return to DH.

And that changes everything.

If the D backs can simply stay within two or three games, then, The final series, which is happening between the two of these guys, is almost going to be like a playoff series before the postseason even begins.

So I think it is a, an amazing takeaway that he played 51% of snaps.
