will be a big part of this limited, very limited, very scarce free agent class this year that is really headlined, at the moment at least, by Tarek Skubal.

We'll see if Bo Bichette's going to be a part of it if he chooses to opt in or out.

But to me, at this point, I feel that Sato has been a name that's been bantered about amongst Mets fans, amongst mock off-seasons, this and that.

Now, I'm going to ask you a straightforward question, which is essentially, do you think the Mets are legit players for Sato? But really, the follow-up to that question is also, do you think it is a proper fit for this team, given the fact that he has never – I'm going to say this again.

Everyone had thoughts on David Stearns when it comes to playing guys out of position.

Do you think this is something that only comes about in terms of connection if Bo Bichette opts out? Or do you think that they would travel down that road once again of playing someone in a spot that they've never played once in their career?
Yeah, I mean, it's kind of hard to tell with me in terms of this, because I think that the centerpiece of this offseason continues to be Bobichette as to what direction that goes in.
In terms of Sato, I mean, I think it is a good fit in terms of a lineup that needs Bobichette.
A little bit of secondary thump, I'd say, in the middle part of the lineup where you have these streaky hitters in and out.
I think that right now it's more of a depth offseason in comparison to what we have usually seen with the top flight talent of guys who you can fill out your lineup.
Unfortunately, last offseason, that was what kind of the Mets were focused on.
They kind of focused on deepening their lineup.
It did not work whatsoever, and that's the main reason as to why we're in the position we are as of right now.
I think that they have a good of chance as anybody.
I think that if they actually do want him and they want to pursue him, I do think that they have a good of chance in comparison to another team that we know that the Dodgers have always been very attached to the Japanese talent as of recently.
I think that we've gotten reports about it.
