But Mike, we have to start off with the fact that once again, We are talking about the status of Joey Porter Jr.

And will he play? Won't he play? Kind of the big picture of everything here is that Joey Porter Jr.

So Joey Porter Jr. was inactive for Sunday's week one opener against the Falcons in talking with Mike McCarthy.

We you know, the ramp up period, as McCarthy has expressed it, they didn't feel like Joey was there yet when they had their meetings on Saturday.

They're hoping to have a good plan when they hit the field for practice on Wednesday and they hope that workload will increase for Joey Porter Jr., But I wonder what's happening here and what this week is going to tell us about Joey Porter Jr.'s future with this team.
Yeah, I think we kept asking the question, are the Steelers going to get a deal done with Joey Porter Jr.? Is Joey going to play in week one? I think I'm at the point of saying, has Joey Porter Jr.
played his last game as a Steeler? And I don't think it's unreasonable to be asking that question at this point.

He injured his back so badly in what was a very, very, very, very light workout that he had to miss all of training camp.

Yeah, I'm very interested to see how this week is going to shake out and what level of participation we'll see from Porter Jr., both what we see being at practice and in those periods of practice we're allowed to watch, as well as what the injury report says.

But I think that if you get to this weekend and if there's any sort of full participation from Porter Jr. and then he still isn't active or still doesn't play, then I'm going to have some real concern.
