I've bashed Patrick Queen for a while, right? I keep not playing too bad.

You know, I'm like, okay, I understand the reason why Baltimore let him go so easily.

So one of the PFT writers suggested that the Drake May interception thrown to Patrick Queen last week was a result of the fact that he was still in shock because Romeo Dobbs had caught the pass on the immediately prior play.

All right, here is Drake May.

I like what we're seeing out of the linebackers.

I'm not just saying that because Patrick Queen got an interception last week.

I think the linebackers are a little bit more freed up to play.

I think part of that is also what they're doing on the front.

But I really think that Mike Kosicki is kind of going to operate as the slot receiver for this offense now without Andre Yoshibas for four to six weeks.

So big week for Peyton Wilson, big week for Patrick Queen, big week potentially for Jalen Ramsey in that regard, if that's the way that you choose to use him.

You know, this wasn't on here, but, like, I'll tie this in as well just because I'm thinking about, like, safety utilization, too, and the way that they could match up there.

Like, because you throw Jaquan Brister's name potentially in there, though I don't love any, like, man-to-man matchup necessarily for him.

Can we see some more Robert Spears Jennings this week, potentially? I mean, he's been phenomenal on special teams, leading all players with seven special teams tackles, two more than anybody else in the league right now.

Could we see a little bit more of him and maybe a little bit less Rayshawn Jenkins in this week? I'm not opposed to that, but I do think it's a big week for the off-ball linebackers, Peyton Wilson and Patrick Queen, with no Andre Yoshafos and trying to figure out, parse through exactly what the coverage plan is going to be here.

Um, last two things that I got here, we're going to kind of combine them, uh, in this regard, because we've talked a lot about how you're going to go about defending this Cincinnati offense, you know, man zone, what do you do to throw their way? What about the blitz rate too? So Burrow has been blitz on 30%, 37% of his dropbacks this year, which is the 10th highest rate in the league.

and highest of his career, 2.67 time to throw within that, third fastest in the NFL, averaging a career-low 6.4 air yards per pass attempt while being hit on 20.5% of his dropbacks, highest rate of his career, versus the Blitz this year.

The Bengals will have an amazing advantage and force Pittsburgh to probably send more guys than they are used to and are comfortable with in this situation.

But moving on to the Bengals, last Bengals offensive player versus Stewards defensive players, Chase Brown versus Patrick Queen and Peyton Wilson.

Chase Brown has had the Stewards number.

in past matchups.

If you allow the Bengals to be two-dimensional and run the ball and pass the ball against you, this one, again, even against a Stewart's defense that I think is much improved, you're not going to give your offense much of a chance here this Steerers need to win up front in the run game to make the Bengals one-dimensional.

And when Brown gets the ball, he is one of the more elusive backs in the NFL.

And that is where Patrick Queen and Peyton Wilson come in to limit his speed and elusiveness, forcing him to make plays elsewhere.

These two need to be solid tacklers and run-stuffers, filling every hole, making sure Brown stays bottled up.

I thought the linebacker play was pretty good.

I got on Patrick Queen early because I thought the Trayvon Henderson touchdown was... again sometimes with these long runs I look at Patrick Queen I look at his positioning I don't know other people don't always seem to agree with me but he had a good game after that I thought Peyton Wilson I

don't know if it was if it was if it was Queen on that I thought that was a lesson in run blocking you watched that play some of the blocking there was awesome At the line and through the second level.

Vera Tucker prevented Sebastian Joseph Day from getting to his second gap, which he peaked one gap.

With all due respect, Gav, Patrick Queen is the highest paid linebacker.

It's his job to not get blocked out of that play.

But they do, I would say that they, I'm not gonna say desperately, but it would be nice to have him out there because then if Dean doesn't play and you have to have Ramsey over there and you have Brandon Echols maybe in the slot, they roll Guy Si- I imagine more Guy Sikky because Joseph Watch is gonna be out.

That's not a great matchup, and I know Graham's probably gonna use Payton Wilson and Patrick Queen a lot more.

We've seen Cole Holcomb.

We've seen him go bigger in some s- circumstances.

Alright, now let's move on to the defense here, and listen, if you heard me a couple days ago, as I kind of gave you a little bit of a crystal ball looking ahead to this game on Sunday, and listen, we all know that the Steelers must disrupt Burrow, whether it's C.J. Watt, whether it's Alex Highsmith, or maybe even guys coming off the bench, whether it's Nick Herbig, Jack Sawyer, could...

Patrick Queen, come up the gut, maybe Jalen Ramsey here on a safety blitz.

Anything and the kitchen sink in order to get Burrow off of his spots, to get him off of his timing.

Because if Burrow finds that one guy, if it's a cover zero or it's a one-on-one, it could be curtains.
