Josh Getzoff

He talks to us a couple times a year, tops.

So the only person he's talking to about it regularly is Josh Getzoff on his every other week radio program.

So how are we hounding him when it comes to questions about Geno? I think he's sort of transferring emotions here.

He's affixing what he's hearing and reading directly online and on the radio and kind of throwing it onto us in the media.

Here's a look at our opening week of hockey coverage on Sportsnet Pittsburgh.

It begins at 6 o'clock with Penguins game plan with Josh Getzoff and Kyle Dubas.

That's coming up on Wednesday.

Then at 6.30, Penguins and the Flyers pregame coverage begins with Penguins tonight.

There's no other way to aura, as the kids say.

We have spoken with Penn's play-by-play announcer, Josh Getzoff, a few times here, and we talked to him right after the Ryan Shea news, and he's like, you guys are going to love this guy.

Yeah, he's like, you get

excited.

It's crazy.

As some of you might have seen, shout out to Josh Getzoff for that.

I was at the game on Monday, the preseason opener against the Buffalo Sabres, and it is so nice.

to be watching hockey again, preseason or otherwise.

Greg Brown, who does play-by-play for the Pirates.

And Josh Getzoff, who does play-by-play for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Oh, yeah.

So Greg Brown, I think, isn't he the longest tenured Pirate announcer?

voice to the you know of accrasure and everything and on kdk it's larry richard it's bob pompiani of course needs no introduction it's bob pompiani it's our buddy bill crawford who do uh did a great job you know hosting the event and it's mayor cory o'connor and me and bob in the one picture i'm like that's a little explosion right there a little bit That was pretty cool, but it was a great night.

Got to see Josh Getzoff, our guy that calls the games for the Pens.

It's good seeing him.
