Uh, I'm sure you saw the story today coming out, uh, from, uh, from Michigan, uh, as this came out, uh, in The Athletic, uh, that there's a lawsuit on behalf of 16 men's hockey players who competed-

Mm-hmm

... at the University of Michigan, who allege that players were subjected to hazing rituals that amounted to a form of, of sexualized abuse.

I'd encourage anyone to go read it, uh, at The Athletic.

Um, what was your reaction to seeing that coming out earlier today? And, you know, it's kind of right in that, in that timeframe of when you played for the University of Michigan.

And let me just add, it, it refers to, um, Red Berenson's, quote-unquote, "abusive coaching style."

It's something I did on my last show, and it was a lot of fun being able to get your feel as to where the, uh, what you're thinking about with the upcoming matchup for, for the Bills.

They're taking on the Houston Texans.

Um, I think there's a chance that Skylar Bell is inactive in this one.

I still have to go through my projected inactives for my notebook over at The Athletic.

Um, so I'm g- wanna finalize that today.

One thing, so Cam's home run against Duran was obviously incredible, but two innings or two innings earlier, I think Zach Wheeler was still in the game.

I texted Matt Gelb who covers the Phillies for the athletic and I think there was two on, two outs, and Joe let Cam hit in that at bat.

And I said, this is kind of questionable, letting Cam hit.

This is a situation where he's pinch hit for him in the past.

But if Jonathan Gannon is as good, if not better... and he's got a bunch of things to be effective on Sunday and moving forward, then I think they're not only going to be 1-0, but they're going to be in a good spot moving forward after that.

I am curious, Taush, I have seen now multiple colleagues of mine Bill Huber from Sports Illustrated picked them to go 8-9, and I saw a piece from Matt Schneidman in The Athletic in which he expresses pretty significant skepticism about this team.

I understand the possibility of that.

I don't feel that way about them.

About the 2026 Packers.

Professional athletes are tapping into this as well.

There was an interesting article in The Athletic, and we've talked about like the chase for these individual cards that we saw, you know, Paul Skeens, Cooper Flagg, the one of ones, as they say.

But.

There is a group of like just kind of young men and women right now that are playing professional sports that realize that collecting cards is a thing.

That's actually why I jumped on a plane recovering from appendicitis.

I'm like, oh my gosh, this story that Gabby wrote for The Athletic that says that... they're going to have to make a decision basically european tour or live you're not going to be able to have your cake and eat it too correct that's what compelled me to go to indianapolis not fully healthy because you need to get answers from the guys where are you at with this and thomas peters and a number of other ones are like dude this is a jury still out situation we're working on this behind the

scenes what else are they going to say

I think that that's the next question.

I haven't posted anything about it or given an opinion on it, I have talked to our friend Matt Baker at The Athletic about it, and I think that we're waiting to see if that actually happens.

If you look at the Baton Rouge preliminary injunction that was issued last week, it's written pretty broadly, and it says in one particular paragraph that LSU cannot take any action adverse to the named plaintiffs in that lawsuit.

And I think you've just got to, when something that's, is that broad and, you know, frankly, that vague, did LSU get an action that was adverse to those players because they didn't roster them? It certainly leaves some wiggle room for the plaintiff's attorneys to go in and try to make even more of a crap show that this is by holding LSU or some LSU officials in contempt.
