When Pittsburgh does take to the air, those backs, along with new acquisition wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington, are likely to be the favored targets in the aforementioned short areas of the field.

Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf had a somewhat disappointing debut season in Pittsburgh in twenty twenty-five, and his skill set does not seem like a great match with Rodgers.

He is not a technically savvy route runner and does not have the agility to create quick separation.

If I was designing a team that the Pittsburgh Steelers are gonna beat, I would say I would want a team that doesn't have a really great pass rush, and that's the Atlanta Falcons.

If Aaron Rodgers is gonna have time, and he's gonna have Michael Pittman, and he's gonna have Pat Freiermuth, and he's gonna have DK Metcalf, I, I g- I just kinda like the Steelers here, and I, I think it's a safer play.

And then the last one is probably, in my opinion, the riskiest of all the picks because I think the Carolina Panthers, they acquitted themselves fairly well this last season.

Down the stretch they looked like a much pluckier team.

He, he struggled, right? They just couldn't trust him.

They were counting on different, you know, uh, they, they were trusting on Pat Freiermuth to be a lot better than he was.

He struggled.

So there were guys who were just kind of up and down, and Rodgers kind of had to really make do once again with what he had.

I do think if there's a decent tight end here, um, by decent I would say basically just, like, Pat Freiermuth, um, we could grab another one.
