I'd say the only thing that really stuck out to me was the chokehold stem.

But, like, that was the only thing I could think of.

It was experimental.

I think people bought it and were having trouble with it and stuff.

I can tell you what happened with that stem.

It was like a collar piece that would press into the fork steer tube.

Yeah, yeah.

And we designed it on the American dimensions of our steer tube because we don't do the metric system in America because we're smart.

I'm joking.

All the people that had forks that were made in Taiwan, the tolerance was just under the American version.

It was a slightly smaller, microscopic smaller diameter.

We didn't design the stem to fit on Odyssey forks or whatever.

It wouldn't clamp tight enough on forks that weren't made in the USA.

Because all the US-made forks had the same outer diameter of the steer tube, and it worked on those, but not everyone had FBM forks or pitch forks.

Yeah.

How long did it take you to figure that one out?

Once everyone started complaining that their fucking stem wasn't horrible.
