The National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, New York, has announced its twelve finalists for the class of twenty twenty-six.

They include Tickle Me Elmo, Bingo, and the playground slide.

Care Bears, Yahtzee, and Pokémon trading cards are also in the run, in the, uh, in the running.

So, um, I, la- other thing I remember, my dad was, he was working for Bausch + Lomb at, at the time, and he was commuting.

He would commute up to Rochester, where they're based, and he was up in Rochester.

It was a, 'cause it was Tuesday, and he couldn't get a flight home, so he rented a car and drove back to Atlanta.

So I remember that, him getting back like I think Thursday, Thursday or Friday of that week.

Coming up later in the show, a report from Josh Wetzel.

He is the voice of the Nats AAA affiliate, the Rochester Red Wings.

And he's going to tell us about starting pitcher Connelly Early's minor league rehab outing for Rochester, as it is looking like we will get an outing from Early at the major league level before the end of this Nats season.

But speaking of pitching.

What happened with the Nats from a pitching standpoint in this game was something.

Usually like you are what you are by the time you get to your 30s.

This guy was just getting going as he entered his 30s.

The Nats late night on Wednesday night announced having optioned outfielder Andrew Pinckney to AAA Rochester.

Commerce industrializes what comes out.

So the bill is backed by IBM, Microsoft, Google's Industry Coalition, plus RIT, Rochester, U Albany, Buffalo, Syracuse, RPI.

And it's just interesting.

I'm only saying this because th- they announced the Quantum Competitiveness Act, and then immediately after that, they come out and say, "We are replacing the GPS on all of our war-fighting military vehicles with quantum clocks." And anybody that's followed the Q operation, there's this whole concept of a Q clock.

now buffalo has he it's been known as a blue collar city for a long time and you've worked with other you do a lot of work with the little you've seen a lot of blue collar construction you've seen a union trades you've seen a lot of different things with buffalo in general Could you sense a little bit of a difference between here as far as the country? Because I live personally in the Rochester area and I even noticed I went to school in Buffalo.

I traveled to Buffalo pretty often.

There's a difference in the culture and the way people are.

He immigrated at six years old from from England and he's actually Welsh and he immigrates to Rochester, New York.

Where the family hit my great grandparents, they were working class.

They just on their on their, you know, if you go to Ellis Island and look up their records, it says unskilled labor.

to find that golf ball because it was so valuable.

And then they might get like a penny or five cents for having found it and that was a big tip.

So he came from really modest means and he became an assistant pro at this club, Soda Bay, which is kind of near Rochester.

And Soda's Bay is only open in the summertime.

This is all coming together, right? Once Dylan described the ring, the secretary knew who it belonged to.

Kim now lives in Rochester, and they got in touch with her, and yes, it was her ring.

28 years after losing it at the lake, these two guys found it underneath a rock.
