Tonight we've got, ah, my, one of my favorites, Life of Agony.

Sweetheart, I... [laughs] It's funny you picked that one, 'cause last week I was kinda complaining about that album Soul Searching Son, and you pick a song off of it.

Don't ever complain about Life of Agony.

They were into kind of more sort of mainstream metal and stuff, you know.

Megadeth, they went to stuff like, I guess, by that point, you know, Life of Agony had just come out.

I remember one taped to that.

I did see Life of Agony, not deliberately, but it wasn't my thing.

I went to see them, well, I went to see The Obsessed, who were opening, and Life of Agony were on the bill.

But that was, you know, it was like 94, wasn't it? It was like, fucking Obsessed, finally, when Church Within came out.

yeah would that be Guy was Guy Guy sorry Guy yes I think he was

and these are almost like legacy bands that are still, you know, they're 30 years plus into their career and they're still going exceedingly well.

You know, even like bringing back Biohazard and Life of Agony that, you know, they're not as heavy, but they are legacy bands.

You know, they're 30 plus years into their career.

The reason is they're still... going strong you know they're not selling arenas but they're still playing really great gigs and they're doing really good is they're authentic

But I would, if I really wanted it, I would get it through there.

But I also just saw that Life of Agony's River Runs Red is available.

Yeah, he's on there.

You know? And it-

If you like, you'll get a taste of good old-fashioned, like, New York hardcore that was like a blend of like a little emo, a little this, a little of that.

I don't know what kind of effects he was using.

I'm not a musician, but we had Alan Robert from Life of Agony on a few months ago, and he makes this cool little bass pedal thing that I can't remember what it's called, but he said he was endorsing it, and Giesel Butler was one of his customers, and it kind of sounded a little fuzzy there, so I wonder if it was that effect.

Bands there between Tesla, Life of Agony, MXPX, Goldfinger, Bloodhound Gang, Insane Clown Posse, Rusted Roots, Steve Vai, Union Underground.

I mean, between the 90s and 2000s, this was my home.

And they were always packed shows, always a lot of fun.
