The Week 3 breakdown with all the injuries, back-to-back bonehead moves, a trade analysis, a monster waiver acquisition, and oh so much more.

This has got to be, and I actually saw a Reddit post about it, it is the worst start to a season as far as injuries go than I can ever remember.

One Reddit user with a lot of free time on his hands went back and analyzed the past 11 seasons, going all the way back to 2015, and they were able to pinpoint 13 top 100 players missing time.

Got to go all the way back to 2020 to get even close to it, which was 12, but I mean, if you look at the years 2015 through 2019, it's got, again, this is top 100 players missing time, four, five, six, five, six.

And it also analyzed the top 50 players missing time, and again, 2020 was the only year that compares.

And that, if you all remember, was the COVID year, where training camps were much different, practice plans going into the season, pre-season games.

I mean, we've had 21 top 150 players miss time so far this season, and we're only through three weeks.

Week three's injury headlines, at the top of the list, De'Von Achane, torn ACL, done for the year.

Certainly not off to the best start of his career, but still was getting the volume to be a workhorse running back in that struggling Miami offense.

I am curious to see how much the bids will be for the other Dolphin running backs, Oli Gordon and Jaylen Wright.

Who knows how long that'll take to come back from? Caleb Williams, of course, didn't play.

Makes me think I could still get out there and get it done, you know? Jonathan Brooks landed on the IR.

Baker Mayfield's thumb and the noises he was making on the field after that injury were not ideal.
