A tough matchup, but I do think what we saw out of the Bears offense is, like, they're not gonna score 59 points every week, obviously, but I do think it is representative of the progress that they have made going from year one to year two of the Ben Johnson regime.

Uh, and Caleb Williams having another year, uh, in the system and continuing to develop in his third year in the league.

The problem, as you mentioned, is that they have a lot of options here.

Like, Kalif Raymond, he, like, he knows the Ben Johnson system from their time together with the Lions.

Like, he is going to be annoying the way that, uh, Olamide Zaccheaus was last year.

We're gonna attack your defensive front with our run game, and then we're gonna go to our tertiary receiving options." And the receiver that stood out, uh, for the Bears last week, it would've been a stunner heading in.

Kalif Raymond was their leading receiver with eight catches for 84 yards.

Um, and, and so yeah, they, they, they were really targeting him.

But that was just sort of a, um, a circumstantial thing there.

So you've got three big-time running threats on that team and, and they didn't even need to throw the ball as much as i- i- you know, and spread it around to the level that they could have.

Kalif Raymond.

Right.

Kalif Raymond, you know? So who's always been a good player.

I mean, my buddy Alex Brown, who's the, um, assistant GM of, of Kentucky, former Falcons scout, he was...

I remember him talking about Kalif Raymond years ago and about y- you know- ... kind of an underrated player he was that would be a good bench player who could come off the bench and give you, give you quality play, and there we just had it.

So we're not, he's, he, they haven't even deigned to use Colston Loveland yet.

Yeah, we'll see how, [laughs] we'll see how all that works out.

He's a wide receiver three flex.

Luther Burden and Kalif Raymond.

And again, like, I mean, this is-- I, I think let's not overthink this.

This was a productive player in an incredible offensive environment.

My fifth must-buy is gonna be Luther Burden.

And Luther Burden was somebody that everyone was hyping up this off-season, but none of us fully realized that Kalif Raymond was gonna outscore him in week one.

But he was also, Kalif Raymond was also gonna outscore Kolson Loveland and Romello Dunzige.

So the question was never Luther Burden versus Romello Dunzige.

We shoulda had our good boy Kalif Raymond a part of it.

My thing is, Luther Burden is still the most talented wide receiver, in my humble opinion, on this offense.

Now, him only having a 73% snap share, only having five targets probably is not the best with 9.5 fantasy points in full PBR.

Definitely not enough, uh, especially for what we were hoping he would be, locked into a full-time role right away.

Kalif Raymond getting in the way and being the most productive Bears wide receiver is very annoying, and I don't think that continues.

Until Burden's route share climbs though, he's more of a hold than like an every-week automatic start.

The talent is obviously still there.

But let's get Atlanta off of the screen because their usage was terrible.

Um, Kalif Raymond.

Kalif Raymond, and you could see coming into the season, I did have him projected for 305 yards, two touchdowns.

He is a third of the way there already.

So looks like he's probably going to out-kick his projection coverage.

If he maintain this type of usage throughout the season, you can see the ranges of outcome for Kalif Raymond, but he probably won't.

He probably will not maintain this throughout the season.

Luther Burden, I thought was okay.

Oh, okay, Loveland, Bernard Dunsmore, the whole team ate, but it was really just the running backs.

Caleb Williams, sprinkle in a little bit of Kalif Raymond.

So Colson Loveland, same question.

Are you, are you looking to sell, um, or, or is he just a clear hold again?

And again, y- we know that my thing is I'll always sprinkle in a little bit of traditional fantasy in this.

I've got a, I w- I, I'm saying this because I want to see S- Secco's face.

In my home league, so $100 buy-in, uh, someone has put up 27% of their fab on Kalif Raymond this week.

But yeah, sure volume of, of plays and, uh, like I said, I guess it's funny that 59 points, the number one scoring QB didn't even throw up for 300 yards, but obviously didn't need to.

Uh, but Kalif Raymond was Caleb Williams' top target.

Nine targets for Kalif Raymond, another five for Luther Burden.

That's 14 targets.

Or yeah, 14 targets just for those two.

I don't know if there's a price high enough to pay that someone would be willing to part with him after that performance, so.

'Cause the people who do have him, even if they don't value him as the QB three, might still say, "Uh, after that performance let, let's ride it, let it ride one more week and then maybe that price goes up even higher," right? So, uh, but yeah, Caleb Williams, like, he did it without his...

Again, Kalif Raymond is his number one target.
