Manitoba Trivia

Uh, what a weekend for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Saturday night, a win at home in what was essentially a must-win game.

It was, for all intents and purposes, it was a playoff game with the Calgary Stampeders.

Bombers, Zach Collaros looked absolutely spectacular.

We'll hear from him and, and visit some of the highlights coming up Breakfast with the Bombers on Tuesday at 7:37.

And w- yes- yesterday, was it yesterday? Yeah, Saskatchewan got pummeled in Montreal.

The Alouettes are good.

In case [laughs] you haven't been paying attention to the Canadian Football League, they haven't lost at home all season.

Of course, Montreal and Saskatchewan met in the Grey Cup here last year.

The CFL waited till, what, week 19 to have the Grey Cup matchup, rematch.

Dumb.

Uh, now they play back-to-back weekends, Montreal in Saskatchewan.

And, uh, Tom just sent this to us on our text line: "G-Mac, after the Bombers win, there's a crazy scenario that has a pretty good chance of happening.

There could end up being a three-way tie between Winnipeg, Calgary, and Saskatchewan in the standings, which would mean Sask would miss the playoffs.

All three teams have eight wins, and they all play the top teams in the league.

They could all finish 8-10.

In that scenario, the Bombers, Bombers finish third in the West.

Calgary goes to the crossover, and Sask misses."

Is that, like, that's h-

That's, that's, that's legit.

That's what would happen.

If, uh, if all...

If, if things stayed the same, Calgary has one game left.

Winnipeg and Sask both have two games left.

Bombers play in Edmonton on Friday, and then they wind up the season a, a week Friday in BC.
