I just think BC at their best is better than Saskatchewan or Winnipeg this year.

Um, you know, they, they didn't really have too much flow, too much mojo.

They got a big win when their backup, uh, backup quarterback rushed for, like, 180.

They ran for, like, 340 on Winnipeg that day, and, and they've kind of been rolling ever since.

Uh, what they did really well against Montreal, again, football is a game of film and a game of habit.

Oh, listen, i- it's a, it's a, like, I think we've learned this with Rexall.

We know that with the new, with the newer but smaller rink in Winnipeg, small is good.

Like, the footprint of that little Saddledome is, I'll bet you you could put two of them in the new rink down there.

It's just like, didn't they say that about Rexall? Couldn't you put two Rexalls inside of Rogers?

You are right above the ice.

It is a great place to watch a game.

The only place might be better is Winnipeg, and it only seats, what's it seat, 14,000 or something?

No, 16.

Because if they go three and two, that means Saskatchewan has to go 5 and 0.

If they go three and two, BC can't catch them, Winnipeg can't catch them.

It'd only be Saskatchewan.

And, uh, the Riders would have to go on a hell of a run to, uh, defeat, uh, Montreal back to back and then Edmonton.

Saskatchewan actually has, of the remaining five games of Edmonton, Saskatchewan, BC, and Winnipeg, the, uh, the Riders have the, uh, toughest remaining sched.

So we'll, uh, we'll, um...

Yeah? What makes you say that? Just there's a couple of teams with uncertainty that I think will be looking to grab a little bit more of a solid foundation.

Also knowing that there's some fluidity in a couple of stops, i.e. Winnipeg, where we don't know exactly how that's going to play out.

And Kevin, you've made the point many times that you think that you're going to see more teams carrying three goaltenders, which might suggest that they won't be slipped through the waiver wire.

But the opposite side is there might be more teams willing to pick a guy up because they're willing to carry three.

it's uh it's easier some days and and very hard other days it's uh yeah you never um yeah can't can't get too comfortable ever because it's um the game will humble you quickly

last one you you mentioned wolf are there guys that you like to watch are there guys that you still like i know you're a student of the position you're your passion for the position rather than you don't just go out and play it you think it uh it's always come through in our conversations Are there guys that you like to watch and sort of go to school on any more than others? Or are you just always

watching? Yeah, I would say, like, well, my time in Winnipeg, I was watching Hellebuck.

And he was, like, it was really good to see him at such a close level.

All the home teams won, by the way.

Winnipeg beat Saskatchewan in the Banjo Bowl 19-6.

Edmonton tore apart Calgary 53-16 to split the back-to-back set.

Battle of Alberta.

This week is going to tighten everything up really, really close.

You know, you wonder if Calgary can get back into the mix, but BC starting to come on, that's going to create some real intrigue.

because at the top with Edmonton, BC, Saskatchewan, and now Winnipeg that can play some really good football, it's anybody's ballgame.

You know, Edmonton continues to hold serve and lead the way, but home field, that home playoff game and all of that is tight.
